Ryder Cup 2025 Match Format Recap

The Ryder Cup follows a match play format. That means players compete to win each hole. The goal is not the lowest total score, but to win more holes than the opponent.

Each match is worth 1 point. If a match ends in a tie after 18 holes, both teams get ½ point.
